How much does a home remodel cost in Chicago?
It depends on the size of the space, the materials you choose and what we find once we open things up. We haven't figured out mind reading yet, so anyone giving you a firm price without seeing the job is guessing. Call for a free estimate, and we'll walk through it with you.
How long does a home renovation take?
It depends on the job. A home renovation Chicago winters interrupt can run differently than the same job in June, especially outside work. You'll get a timeline before we start, and if anything changes, you'll hear it from us first.
Do I need a permit to remodel in Chicago?
Many remodeling jobs do, depending on the work. We'll go over what your project needs when we come out.

Look for crumbling or missing mortar, gaps between bricks, or water getting in. If you can scrape the mortar out with a key, don't wait for it to fix itself.
Why not do it yourself?
Paint a room? Go for it. But when walls, water, brick or concrete are involved, a mistake you can't see today can get expensive later. A lot of our calls could've been cheaper if we'd gotten them first.
